Water hookups at campgrounds can be tricky if I don't have the right hose. This one is safe for drinking water, which keeps my mind at ease—no lead, BPA, or phthalates to worry about.
The water tastes clean without any plastic aftertaste, and the reinforced PVC means it's pretty durable against kinks. However, the fittings have given me some trouble; they occasionally leak or seem to be missing an O-ring.
Plus, the hose is quite stiff, especially when the temperatures drop, which makes coiling it a bit of a chore. For the price, though, it does the main job well enough.
