When I hit a surprise downpour during a trail walk, I was grateful to have packed my rain jacket. It's incredibly lightweight, so it doesn't weigh me down or take up much space in the RV — perfect for life on the road.
It keeps me dry even in the heaviest rain, and I can easily layer under it thanks to the relaxed fit. However, it's not the most breathable option, and when I'm on the move, it can start to feel a bit clammy inside.
But for staying dry and keeping it simple, it's a trusty piece of gear to keep around.
