After a long day on the road, the last thing I want is a wrestling match with an awning. This pull cane does pack down small, making it easy to stash away, and it technically extends far enough to reach the awning.
It's lightweight, so you won't strain a muscle using it, and it works well enough for a few pulls to get the awning started. But I've found it to be pretty flimsy.
The rod twists when I try to unhook the awning, and it doesn't take long before it bends or feels like it might snap. I wouldn't rely on it for the long haul.
