In the tight confines of my RV's dashboard, a long charging cable can quickly become a tangled mess. These short Lightning cables are just the right length to keep things tidy and functional, especially when charging directly from a portable battery or in the center console.
They feel well-made and seem to hold up well against the usual wear and tear of travel. However, the stiffness of the cable ends can be a nuisance, making it tricky to fit them into snug spots without some fussing.
