Heading out for a weekend hike, I was impressed by how much I could fit in this backpack without feeling weighed down. The multiple pockets and compartments made it easy to keep everything organized, and the rain cover was a thoughtful addition for unexpected weather.
However, I found the shoulder straps could have been a bit sturdier, as they showed signs of wear after several outings. Also, the chest strap was a bit short for me, which might be something to keep in mind if you're broad-shouldered.
Still, for the price and features, it does a great job for day trips.
