I've had to deal with curling rug corners in my RV, especially on those winding roads. These grippers really do a great job of keeping my rugs flat and secure; I haven't had any slipping since I started using them.
The thin design is a bonus, as they stay hidden and don't affect the look of my space. However, I've noticed that they don't adhere well to some rugs with rubber backing, so you might want to check that before committing.
They're definitely worth having around for the right rugs.
