Working on the rig, I often find myself needing to tighten or loosen things without marring the surface, and that's where these soft jaw covers come in handy. They fit snugly on my slip-joint pliers and do a decent job of protecting delicate finishes while providing a little extra grip.
However, I've had a few instances where the covers slipped off mid-task, which was frustrating and led to some minor scratches anyway. For light jobs, they’re a nice addition, but I wouldn't trust them for anything requiring a lot of force.
Overall, they’re helpful but come with some limitations.
