I was hoping to make quick work of getting firewood ready for our trips, but I found this set didn't quite live up to my expectations. It feels solid and does a decent job on smaller pieces, but it frequently gets stuck in larger or knotty logs, which is frustrating.
I've ended up using my axe more often than I planned, especially with the tougher wood. It's not a total failure, but I wouldn't rely on it for all my splitting needs.
